Reported prowler killed at Vancouver home

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — A reported prowler has been shot and killed in Vancouver.

Police say dispatchers received a call about 4 a.m. Tuesday about a prowler in the neighborhood.

Spokeswoman Kim Kapp says police received another call minutes later saying the prowler had been shot.

The Columbian reports the suspect did not survive.
