Roofing nails spill on Highway 167 in wreck
Roofing nails and paint spilled onto Highway 167 just south of I-405 this morning in a collision that caused a three-mile backup.
The collision, which occurred about 9:20 a.m., involved two semi trucks, a passenger car and the pickup that spilled the debris, according to State Patrol Trooper Julie Judson.
Judson said the driver of the pickup was being taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The collision blocked all northbound lanes at the scene, according to the state Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
One northbound lane reopened about 10 a.m.
