Three hurt in wreck of stolen car in West Seattle
Three people suffered life-threatening injuries in West Seattle Tuesday afternoon in a crash involving two cars — one of them stolen.
Seattle police said the collision occurred shortly after 4 p.m. near the intersection of Delridge Way Southwest and Southwest Webster Street.
Police officers had been responding to the report of a burglary in the 4200 block of Southwest Graham Street when they saw the suspect fleeing in a green Mercedes sedan.
Officers did not pursue the vehicle as it sped away and shortly afterward collided with another vehicle.
Two people from that vehicle, and the burglary suspect, were taken by Seattle Fire Department medics to Harborview Medical Center, all with severe injuries.
