Woman found dead near Othello Station in Seattle

UPDATE 4:45 P.M.| SPD is now saying the woman’s death will not be investigated as a homicide.

Someone called 911 around 2:06 p.m. about the death of a woman believed to be in her 50s, according to spokeswoman Renee Witt. The woman’s husband was at the scene and interviewed by police, she said.

Seattle police say homicide detectives are investigating what happened to a woman who was found dead in South Seattle today.

Her body was found at an apartment complex on the 4200 block of  South Othello Street.
