Bothell homicide victim died from head injuries

A 37-year old woman who was found slain in her Bothell home on Tuesday morning died from head injuries, police said this morning.

Susann Smith, a mother of two young children, worked for mobile game developer, Z2Live. The company released a statement saying that several employees became worried when Smith did not show up for work or answer repeated phone calls because she had always been a “passionate and dedicated employee.”

Bothell police later informed the company that she was found dead at her home on the 200 block of 240th Street Southwest.

“Susann was an employee of Z2Live for a little over a year, and during her time here brought endless energy, smiles and a creative spirit to her work and the office,” the company’s statement said. “The Z2Live family is extremely saddened and equally heartbroken by the news of the loss of our friend and co-worker.”

Bothell police are asking anyone who may have information on the death to call the department’s tip-line at 425-487-5550.
