Driver smashes into Tukwila building

TUKWILA  (AP) — A driver smashed a van into the Family Fun Center at Tukwila at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday and went about 100 feet into the business, which features games and food for kids.

KOMO Radio reports the crash was an apparent attempt to steal a cash machine. When that failed, the driver ran off, leaving the van.

As workers cleaned up broken glass, the manager said there was no structural damage, so the Family Fun Center would be open despite a few skid marks on the floor.
