Fourth person arrested in 2012 killing of Everett man

Everett police said Saturday that they’ve arrested a fourth suspect in the stabbing death last April of Luis Verduzco.

Martin Salazar, 33, of Monroe was arrested Friday and booked into Snohomish County Jail on second-degree murder charges, according to the police statement.

The body of Verduzco, 23, was found on April 24, 2012 in the backyard of a vacant Everett house. Police developed evidence that two women and a man had planned to rob Verduzco of drugs, and that he was stabbed and pushed out of a car after he resisted.

The three other suspects were arrested in May 2012.
