Monday’s Beacon Hill shooting victim dies

A man shot multiple times Monday night in front of his Beacon Hill home has died, turning the Seattle Police Department’s shooting investigation into a homicide investigation.

Quang Vo, 38, died at Harborview Medical Center on Tuesday, according to the King County Medical Examiner.

A male suspect shot Vo at his home in the 2400 block of South Columbian Way around 5:40 p.m. Monday, according to police. The suspect then fled eastbound on foot. No suspect description is available though, according to Jeff Kappel.

Vo’s death is the first non-officer-involved homicide in Seattle this year.

Seattle police ask anyone with more information about the shooting, or  about a  possible suspect, to call 911.
