Pierce County judge refuses to release strip club information on dancers

TACOMA (AP) — A judge says a Pierce County Jail inmate cannot have access to public records for a Parkland strip club that would disclose the names, addresses and phone numbers of more than 200 dancers.

Superior Court Judge Ronald Culpepper ruled Tuesday that a dancer who filed a lawsuit and other dancers have a “very reasonable fear” that the release of their license applications could put them at risk of abuse by Robert Hill.

The News Tribune reports Hill is serving time for malicious mischief and assault. He has past convictions for intimidating a judge and trespassing. He is due to be released from jail in Tacoma April 15.

Hills said he’s an advocate for adult entertainment and wanted to communicate with the dancers to make them stars.
