Police pull naked man from Green Lake

Seattle police pulled a man out of Green Lake this morning after he jumped in without clothes in an apparent suicide attempt.

At about 3:30 a.m., a witness called 911 to report there was a naked man in the water clinging to a dock in Green Lake. Officers responded and made contact with the man, who said he had been in the water for about 30 minutes and could not swim, police said.

More officers arrived and pulled the man up on to the dock. He said that he had been attempting to harm himself, according to police.

The man was taken to a local hospital, police said.
