Seattle parking enforcement officer struck by hit-and-run driver

A Seattle parking enforcement officer (PEO) was not injured when she was struck this afternoon by a hit-and-run driver, police said.

The female PEO was struck just after 12:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of University Way Northeast. Police said the victim was on duty when the driver of a white Ford SUV struck her with the vehicle’s side mirror. The driver fled without stopping, according to police.
