Cab hits man in south Seattle street
Seattle police say a taxi struck a man about 1 a.m. Friday in a south Seattle street.
The taxi was travelling north on Rainier Avenue South, where the roadway intersects with 25th Avenue South, when it struck the adult man, police said. The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with a serious head injury.
The driver was alone in the cab. A department drug recognition expert evaluated the cab driver and said there was no indication he was impaired.
No arrests have been made. The case remains under investigation.
