Motorcyclist and bicyclist stable after accident near Seattle waterfront

A motorcyclist in his 20s and a bicyclist her 30s are in stable condition after a multi-vehicle crash near the Seattle waterfront.

Seattle police say their preliminary investigation indicates a collision involving a taxi cab, bicyclist, motorcyclist and parked car happened near Alaskan Way and Broad Street just before 5:30 p.m.. Both the motorcyclist and bicyclist were taken to Harborview Medical Center, according to the Seattle Fire Department.

King County Metro Transit says southbound route 99 has been rerouted off of Alaskan Way South at Clay Street because of the accident and recommends using stops south of Vine Street until further notice. The southbound route will return to its normal stops Saturday.

The Seattle Police Department is investigating the accident. We will update this post as more information becomes available.
