One killed, one wounded in SeaTac shooting
One man has been killed and another one critically wounded in a shooting reported shortly before 3 a.m. today at a SeaTac home where police later found about 50 marijuana plants.
King County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two suspects and invesitgating whether robbery could have been the motive for the shootings.
“We do not believe this crime is random,” said sheriff’s spokeswoman Sgt. Cindi West. Detectives were not releasing descriptions of the suspects.
Deputies and medics were called to the 3000 block of South 146th Street around 2:50 a.m. by a woman who lives in the home.
One of the victims was able to talk to the 911 dispatcher and deputies about what had happened before he was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
West said detectives investigating the shooting found the marijuana plants. She said police did not immediately know whether the marijuana-growing operating was legal.
