Snow in Snohomish County caps the first day of spring

The weather service got it right.

It’s been snowing in Snohomish County tonight. Mind you, it’s a wet snow, and it hasn’t been sticking everywhere.

“Just drove from Everett to SeaTac,” wrote former Seattle Times writer Melinda Bargreen just after 9:30 p.m. “Very snowy in convergence zone from Everett Mall to County line. Temps 10 degrees colder there than just a few miles south. Husband reports snow has stopped in Everett. Most of mess is midway between Everett and county line.”

Meanwhile,  a Mill Creek resident said at about 9:20 p.m., that the snow there was just starting to stick — not yet sticking on the street.
