Spotted at the locks: Capt. Sig Hansen

Photographed at the Ballard Locks shortly before 8 a.m. today, Captain Sig Hansen, right, of the popular Discovery Channel show “Deadliest Catch” watches as his boat, the Seattle-based Northwestern, enters the locks. Hansen talked about the process of taking the boat through the locks as his younger brother,  Edgar, manned  the controls.  This photo was taken by Bill Dowell, public affairs officer for the Army Corps of Engineers, which runs the locks.
