Suspect in custody in Aurora Avenue rape

Police have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman Thursday night near the 11700 block of Aurora Avenue North.

They are holding Ricky Lee Lewis, 55, in King County jail, where he is under investigation for rape and kidnapping. Lewis is a level 3 registered sex offender, the most dangerous of three possible categories.

The victim says she was forced into a vehicle on Aurora Avenue, and taken to a motor home located on the same property as Lewis’ house, according to court documents.

Police have until Monday to file charges against Lewis.
