Woman struck and killed in Forks

FORKS (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says a woman walking along a road in Forks was killed Monday night by a hit-and-run driver.

Troopers say 25-year-old Amanda Lagambina was carried 80 feet from the point of impact. She was taken to a Forks hospital where she died.

KONP reports a pickup took off after the accident. Troopers later arrested 19-year-old Garrid Larson of Forks in connection with the death and booked him into the Clallam County Jail.
