Fatal shooting in Skagit County; man arrested

A 46-year-old man was arrested Saturday for investigation of second-degree murder after another man was found shot to death in Skagit County, according to authorities.

The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a gunshot victim at about 4 p.m in the 15000 block of Flinn Road in Bow.

A 53-year-old man from the Bow area was found dead of an apparent¬†gunshot wound at the scene. A 46-year-old Sedro-Woolley man was arrested and booked into Skagit County Jail, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of his family.
