Injured logger airlifted from Stanwood area

A 25-year-old man injured in a logging accident in North Snohomish County this morning was airlifted to an Everett hospital, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened at the Pilchuck Tree Farm, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release which did not detail the accident nor the logger’s injuries. The Sheriff’s Office, assisting local aid agencies, brought in its helicopter to airlift the injured man to Providence Everett Medical Center because of the difficult terrain.

The man’s condition was not immediately  known.
