Police arrest Spokane teen after window shot out in parking dispute

SPOKANE (AP) — Spokane police have arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of shooting out a car window after an argument over parking.

The incident happened Monday afternoon after a woman parked near Whitman Elementary School to pick up her daughter.

A truck drove by and the occupants yelled at the woman for blocking the roadway.

Police say an argument ensued and the passenger in the truck pulled out a firearm and shot out the rear window of the victims’ vehicle.

Police say the victim provided the license number and a description of the suspect vehicle and it was located 90 minutes later.
