Seattle police are increasing patrols in response to the explosions at the end of today’s Boston Marathon.
“We haven’t received any information to indicate that there is a threat to Seattle,” Seattle police say in a post on the department’s blog. “Still, we have begun taking reasonable precautions to protect our community.”
Police are stepping up patrols in neighborhoods and around city buildings, according to the blog.
Police urge citizens to report any suspicious activity to 911.
