SPD parking-enforcement officer involved in collision

A Seattle parking-enforcement officer in her vehicle was involved in an accident with a Nissan Pathfinder, this afternoon, according to the police department blog, SPD Blotter.

Both the male driver of the Pathfinder and the parking-enforcement officer were taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The Seattle Fire Department tweeted that it took a 25-year-old woman from the scene with a minor elbow injury.

The 4:47 p.m. collision was at East Alder Street and 11th Avenue. A posting by police spokesman Jeff Kappel says it appears the female parking officer was in her three-wheeled scooter going north on 11th Avenue. The Pathfinder was going west on East Alder Street and the two vehicles collided at the intersection.
