Blue Angels no show at Seafair a done deal? KXL radio in Oregon says the air team has canceled the rest of its season, including an appearance at the Oregon International Airshow in late July. Does that mean the Blue Angels are definitely scratched from the Seafair calendar? KIRO TV is reporting this, based on the KXL report. We’re checking it out. We’ve already said that they might not come to town due to federal budget cuts.
An infant is dead: Brittany Taylor and Patrick Parnel, both 21 and from Ocean Shores, made their first appearance in Grays Harbor County Superior Court yesterday after being arrested for investigation of the beating death of a newborn. Investigators say the infant, a girl, died after being hit in the head. Her body was left in the woods and later found by a woman walking her dog.
