2 arrested after car’s windows shot out in Spokane
SPOKANE (AP) — Police say two teens were arrested Tuesday after a car with children in it was shot at near an elementary school.
The Spokesman Review reports that a woman parked her car near the Whitman Elementary School to pick up her daughter when a truck drove by and someone yelled at her for blocking the roadway. During the argument, a male in the truck pulled out a gun and shot at the woman’s car rear window. The truck then took off.
The woman noted the truck’s license plate, which she gave to police.
Officers shortly after arrested two teens, one 15, the other 18.
They were arrested on three counts of first-degree assault because there were two children in the car with the woman.
