Link light rail stations back in service after train-pedestrian accident

All Link light rail stations are back in service, after a man was struck by a train this morning at 4th Avenue South and South Holgate Street south of Seattle’s Sodo neighborhood.

The man suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Holgate was closed between 4th and 6th avenues south while the accident was being investigated.

Link light rail service was temporarily stopped between SODO station and downtown, but as of 8:45 a.m. Tuesday,  Sound Transit said all stations were open with some delays likely between the SODO and Stadium stations.
