Stillaguamish drowning victim was Everett man
The man who drowned in the Stillaguamish River on Sunday was a 54-year-old Everett resident, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Jay R. Griffin and his wife were in a raft that overturned on the Stillaguamish River near Arlington. Griffin was trapped under some logs and was dead by the time rescuers reached him. His wife got out OK.
