Drowning, not jump from waterfall, killed Bellingham teen
BELLINGHAM (AP) — An autopsy shows a teen who died in a Bellingham creek drowned and was not injured when he jumped into the water at Whatcom Falls.
County medical examiner Gary Goldfogel says 16-year-old Daniel Santiago Guerrero suffered no outward injuries and was healthy.
The Bellingham Herald reports deceptively fast-moving water swept him into a swimming hole.
