Bus crash kills two: A man and his wife were killed when a Sound Transit bus struck an SUV driven by their 51-year-old son, according to the Washington State Patrol. After the crash in Kirkland, passengers on the bus called 911 to report it was not stopping. The bus driver said the brakes had stopped working, but investigators have not confirmed that.
