Booze burglar busted on Bainbridge: A man from the Renton area who reportedly has a nasty Oxycontin habit was arrested at the ferry dock on Bainbridge Island a few days back after burglarizing a Safeway and making off with $500 worth of booze, says our community partner Inside Bainbridge. But that apparently was just one of his heists. He’s suspected of stealing bottles of alcohol from stores in Woodinville, Kirkland, Northgate and Newcastle.

Josh Powell’s brother was heavily involved in Susan Powell’s disappearance, police in Utah say. They also say Josh Powell had an affair with a woman six or seven months before his wife disappeared. Neither Josh Powell nor his brother Michael C. Powell, who killed himself last year, were ever charged in Susan Powell’s disappearance. Utah police released a massive amount of documents yesterday while announcing they have closed their investigation. Susan and Josh Powell, who were living in Utah when she disappeared, were from Puyallup. Josh Powell killed the couple’s two young sons and himself in a fire in a rental home last year.
