Woman jumps from moving car on Interstate 405

The Washington State Patrol is investigating why a woman jumped from a moving car this morning on Interstate 405.

The woman suffered only scrapes and cuts, according to KOMO-TV.

The incident occurred around 9:45 a.m. near Northeast 85th Street. Witnesses told state troopers that the woman landed in the path of an oncoming semi-truck, which slammed on its brakes to avoid hitting her, KOMO reported.
