Update: 5-year-old Gold Bar boy safe after abduction
Update, 11:03 p.m.: Riley Cleveland is safe and headed home after Chelan County officials stopped his non-custodial mother west of Leavenworth, authorities said.
Chelan County Sheriff’s Office deputies took the mother into custody following the stop on U.S. 2 around mile post 92, said Trooper Darren Wright of the Washington State Patrol.
Update, 10:47 p.m.: The Amber Alert has ended, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Original post, 10:19 p.m.: Authorities have issued Amber Alert for Riley Cleveland, a 5-year-old Gold Bar boy who was apparently taken by a non-custodial parent.
The parent may be taking Cleveland to Montana in a silver 1996 Ford Taurus, with a Washington state license’s plate, ALK81114, officials said.
Cleveland was described a 3 foot 3 inches tall and 80 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde shaved hair.
The suspect, Noranda Youra Chenier, was described as a 34-year-old female with blue eyes and blonde hair.
