Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives returned this morning to a West Lake Stevens home where a young woman was found dead on Monday.
Investigators have obtained a search warrant to allow them back inside the house, according to Lt. Jeff Brand of the Sheriff’s Office.
No other information was released this morning.
The Sheriff’s Office launched a homicide investigation Monday after a 911 call led them to discover a woman in her 20s dead in the home in the 9200 block of 15th Street Southeast. She apparently died from homicidal violence, Brand said.
After finding her body, deputies left the home to await the search warrant.
Brand said the Sheriff’s Office is confident the death is not related to the Molly Conley case. Conley, a 15-year-old Bishop Blanchet High School freshman, was killed in a drive-by shooting as she and friends walked along a Lake Stevens road June 1.
