Flooding closes 3 stores at Bellevue Square

Two stores at Bellevue Square will open late today and a third is expected to remain closed as they clean up after rainwater flooded parts of the shopping mall Tuesday night.

Tiffany & Co. is closed, and HUGO BOSS and LEGO planned delayed openings. In all, about a dozen stores on the first floor were affected by the flooding, which occurred before the mall’s regular 9:30 p.m. closing.

Floors were flooded as were some electrical functions, according to a Bellevue Square spokeswoman. Cleanup of most stores was completed overnight.
