I-90 express lanes, other roads closed for marathon Saturday
More than 20,00 people will be out on the streets of Seattle starting at 7 a.m. Saturday, running, walking and rolling along in the Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon. But thousands more may be affected because of road closures and changes in bus routes.
The marathon will close the express lanes across the Interstate 90 bridge from 3 a.m. to 2 p.m., some ramps on and off Interstate 5 through Seattle and parts of Highway 99. For a complete list of closures, check the Washington State Department of Transportation website. Forty-two Metro bus routes will be affected by the marathon. To see if your route is one of them, check the Metro website.
