Jogger hit Saturday is in intensive care; driver sought
Seattle police have been unable to track down the driver who apparently fled after hitting a 54-year-old jogger in West Seattle Saturday morning, and are still seeking the public’s assistance in the case.
A spokeswoman for Harborview Medical Center today said the injured woman is in serious condition in an intensive-care unit.
She was found unconscious about 7 a.m. Saturday on the side of the road in the 2300 block of Fairmount Avenue Southwest.
Anyone with information about this incident, or who may know the identity or whereabouts of the driver, or even remembers seeing any vehicle in that area between 6 and 7 a.m. Saturday, is asked to call Seattle Police Detective Korner at 206-684-8927.
