Seattle police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man’s body on a planting strip early yesterday morning in Seattle’s Rainier Valley.
A 911 caller reported a man was down in the 7400 block of Rainier Avenue South around 5:15 a.m. Seattle police and firefighters responded and declared the 63-year-old man dead.
A bicycle and a cane were found near the man’s body, but it is unclear if the man had been riding the bicycle, police said. No known witnesses were found.
Traffic Collision Investigation Squad detectives are conducting the initial investigation.
