Amanda Knox and her mother are scheduled to appear on “The View” this morning. It’s another opportunity for Knox to promote her book, alongside her mother, Edda Mellas. The show airs at 10 this morning on KOMO 4. Haven’t heard anything recently, but it was reported several weeks ago that her book, “Waiting to be Heard,” wasn’t selling all that well.
Who’d have thought you could collect honeybee sperm, let alone preserve it? It’s being done at Wazzu to help the threatened bees, which are vital to pollinate millions and millions of dollars of crops from here down through California.
Young bicyclist killed: How sad is this? Teen cyclist hit, killed in charity ride. The teen, from Victoria, B.C., apparently pulled away from others he was with to pass another group when he fell and was hit by an oncoming car.
Those Mariners … Not only did they lose 10-2 to Oakland, they had to suffer a locker room full of raw sewage down there. Yuck.
Man choked in Seattle park: Police say the choker knew the man he choked. The victim was choked until he was unconscious. It happened on a bench shortly after midnight in Victor Steinbrueck Park. The choker was arrested. No word on the condition of the victim.
