Overturned truck closes all lanes of eastbound I-90 at Snoqualmie Pass

UPDATED, 8:47 p.m. | The accident scene has been cleared and both lanes of eastbound Interstate 90 near Snoqualmie Pass are open, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

UPDATED, 8:02 p.m. | The left lane of eastbound Interstate 90 is open, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation, but traffic is backed up six miles.

The semi-truck that rolled over was hauling large bags of cement powder, according to Washington State Patrol spokesman Darren Wright. The driver had minor injuries and declined medical treatment. A tow truck is one the scene.

UPDATED, 7:41 p.m. | One lane of eastbound Interstate 90 should reopen around 8 p.m., according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

ORIGINAL POST | An overturned semi-truck is blocking all lanes of eastbound Interstate 90 at Snoqualmie Pass, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

All lanes won’t reopen until at least 8:45 p.m., WSDOT reported just before 6 p.m. Friday.

Drivers should avoid the closure at Snoqualmie Pass (mile post 57) by taking Highway 2 or Highway 410.
