Pinball fanatics and classic video-game aficionados may want to plan a trip to Tacoma this weekend. The sixth annual Northwest Pinball and Arcade Show starts today at the Tacoma Convention Center.

Organizers said they are expecting more than 350 games to be on display, most of which show attendees will be able to play for free after admission.

Today, Seattle native and two-time Donkey Kong world champion, Steve Wiebe, will speak from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Wiebe was the subject of the 2007 documentary “King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters.”

Finally, no post that mentions pinball is complete without a link to “Pinball Wizard” by The Who.
