Seattle police divers rescue trapped dog from capsized boat
Seattle police Harbor Patrol officers rescued a dog that had become trapped last night on a capsized boat on Lake Washington.
The officers responded to the capsized boat near the Windermere neighborhood just before 8 p.m. and found that the three people aboard had been picked up by another boat. They were not injured, police said.
However, the officers learned a large dog was trapped in an air pocket inside the cabin of the capsized boat.
The officers donned their dive gear and rescued the trapped dog, which did not require medical treatment.
The boat was towed to Magnuson Park, police said.
