Unconscious child pulled from Edmonds pool
A 3-year-old girl was pulled unconscious from a house pool in Edmonds and rushed to a Seattle hospital Saturday afternoon.
People at the house, in the 10700 block of 226th Street Southwest, rescued the girl and performed CPR until paramedics arrived around 4:30 p.m., said Leslie Hynes, spokeswoman for Snohomish County Fire District 1, which includes Edmonds.
Although the child was breathing by the time she was taken to Harborview Medical Center, her condition was not known Sunday morning, Hynes said. It also was not known how long she had been underwater, Hynes said.
