Victim in Kent shooting identified

The Kent man fatally shot Thursday morning in a Kent neighborhood has been identified as Sayha Doeum, 32.

The King County Medical Examiner said Doeum died of a gunshot wound to the torso.

Doeum was conscious and breathing when the first medics arrived after the 5 a.m. shooting in the 21000 block of 132nd Avenue Southeast, but he soon lapsed into unconsciousness and died before he could be taken to a hospital.

Kent police have asked anyone who many know about the incident to call  911 or the Kent Police Department tip line at 253-856-5808.
