Water seeps into Bellevue Square stores, Bellevue Park condos

About 10 Bellevue Square stores and the Bellevue Park condominiums  flooded Tuesday evening after heavy rains, according to the city’s fire department.

About an inch of rain was reported in one of the stores, said Lou Faehnrich, a Bellevue fire battalion chief.

Faehnrich said he did not know if the water came from the roof or through surface flooding.

Officials were working to clean up the mess.
