Woman found dead in Bellevue home

UPDATE, 5:13 p.m. | Police are now saying the woman found dead in her Bellevue condo was not shot, according to Bellevue police public information officer Carla Iafrate. Investigators still suspect foul play.

ORIGINAL POST: A woman was found dead with a gunshot wound in her Bellevue condo Monday morning, according to the Bellevue Police Department.

A co-worker found the 35-year-old woman at her residence in the 12700 block of Northeast 10th Place after coming to check on her when she didn’t show up for work in the morning, Bellevue police public information officer Carla Iafrate said. The initial investigation suggests foul play.

There does not appear to be any threat to the surrounding area, Iafrate said.
