Car rolls over 1-year-old in Skagit County

A 1-year-old boy was injured after a car rolled over him in Concrete Tuesday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The driver of a Nissan Maxima backed out of a parking stall at a county park near Baker Lake and hit the child just before 3 p.m., Trooper Keith Leary said. The boy was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He remained in serious condition Tuesday night.

No arrests were made in relation to the collision, Leary said.
