Couple arrested in string of Eastside liquor thefts
Issaquah police have arrested a man and woman in connection with a series of liquor thefts from Eastside supermarkets.
The suspects, an 18-year-old SeaTac man and 39-year-old Seattle woman, were arrested Sunday during a traffic stop as they tried to flee from a recent theft, police said. Police said they also found 30 bottles of liquor and evidence of numerous thefts.
The pair targeted QFC and Safeway stores in Issaquah, Kirkland and Redmond, police said.
They have been booked into the King County Jail for investigation of organized retail theft.
