Police investigating vehicular assault

UPDATE AT 12:21 P.M.: Seattle police have arrested a 23-year-old woman in connection with this morning’s hit and run. They’ve also located and impounded a stolen Cadillac used in the incident.

Police believe the woman, who is known to the victim, stole his car before hitting him with the vehicle.

UPDATE 7:20 a.m:| A Seattle Fire Department spokesman said the 24-year-old man hit by a car shortly after 6 a.m. suffered head injuries and other trauma and is being taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Previous post:| Seattle police are investigating what appears to be a vehicular assault in the 9400 block of 11th Avenue Southwest.

Initial indications were that a woman struck a male victim with a car and then fled.  There was no immediate word on what triggered the incident.
