A man has life-threatening injuries after being run over near the intersection of Broadway and Yesler Way shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday, according to the Seattle Police Department.

A Washington State Patrol trooper was flagged down by a motorist about 4:15 a.m. and told a man was lying in the middle of Yesler Way. The trooper found the victim in the street with obvious injuries. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

There were no witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact SPD, 206-625-5011.
