outage map

Seattle City Light says a power outage has affected 4,900 customers in South Seattle and an area just beyond the city limits.

A car struck a power pole near the 14600 block of Military Road South, the utility says. Most customers are expected to get electricity back by 3 p.m. but it may take longer for some, the utility tweeted.

The utility says the general boundaries are Highway 509 to the west, 46th Avenue South at the east, and between South 106th Street and South 152nd Street.
